Wedding in West Palm Beach

The first Friday in June, Ben and I flew after work to West Palm Beach for his cousin Rachel's wedding. We got there late Friday night, but still got to enjoy the tail end of a luau in honor of Rachel and her then husband-to-be, Micah. Most of Ben's family was able to be there (except for Noah, Reagan, and Quint)...it was such a fun weekend!

We were all staying in the same hotel, so Saturday morning we spent some time at the pool. The wedding was that night, and it was FABULOUS! No really, I know I use that word a lot...but this was truly the most fabulous wedding ever! No joke!! The wedding was in this gorgeous church with huge windows all over that let so much beautiful light in; the ceilings were so tall with wooden rafters; the music was lovely, especially the bridal procession written by Ben's dad and the song played during the wedding, written by Rachel's dad to her.

Those Kuhl brothers- so talented! To top it off, Rachel was stunning, wearing her mother's wedding dress and veil.

The reception was at a beautiful country club--a great place to take a few pictures!

I stole that picture of me and Ben from Lindsay's blog...couldn't resist!

The dining room was out-of-this-world gorgeous, and the hors d'oeuvres, salad, entrée, dessert, and wedding cake were delicious! My phone camera doesn't do it justice, but it gives you the idea.

At one point during the reception, Rachel come out dressed in this cute little dress and blue high heels, and her and Micah performed a choreographed salsa dance- so cute!

After a great night of good food, dancing, and hanging out with the family at lucky table number 7, we sadly had to fly out the very next morning so Ben could be back in town by noon to leave for a Bible Bowl trip. The whole weekend seemed like a whirlwind- left Friday after work, and Sunday at noon I was back home! Totally worth the trip though!
