Yep, I turned 24! I hosted a jewelry party on the actual day since it was a Thursday and figured I didn't have anything better to do than get some free jewelry. :) On Friday, Ben's parents took us out to Porcini's, a really nice Italian restaurant (yes, the Rick Pitino scandal place). It was a fun night and a great end to a long week! Plus, I got to wear my new dress (birthday present from Ben's parents, Lindsay, and Emma)!
OK, so that picture is actually from the weekend before when I wore the dress to a wedding...but I didn't take one at the birthday dinner and I wanted to show it off.
If you come to my house, you will see the beautiful fall flower arrangement my mom made me for the front door...
...followed by the new pillow and vase full of flowers for the living room, from my sister...
...I might be wearing my new clothes (also from my sister)...or perhaps my new monogrammed apron and oven mitt (also from my parents)...cooking with my new kitchen utensils (also from Ben's parents)...perhaps making homemade ravioli with my new pasta roller, ravioli mold, and pasta drying stand (from Ben) with a recipe from my new cookbook (from Ellie). My family knows me well!
